I am Juanita Pettaway, and I understand the shift. I have been through the loops and back; I have started both for-profits and not-for-profits, all of which still exist today. I have also been a clinical mental health therapist for a decade and understand the wonders of the mind. What do I actually do now? It is getting people to acknowledge themselves, observe choices that offer opportunities for change, and better prioritize themselves. Like in marriage, “when one spouse is at their best self, then we are at our best self”; the same goes for you and your company. That is why it is important for you to protect and nourish your intellectual property; for entrepreneurs, it is our mind. Trust me, relieve the mind from stress, and it will work wonders for you.
